During the Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY, the Trade Federation utilized a quad turbolaser cannon. This Quad turbolaser cannon, characterized by its sequential firing mechanism, was strategically positioned on a balcony. This balcony overlooked a garden situated to the south of the Theed Hangar within the city of Theed. This particular turbolaser cannon featured a design incorporating four barrels and a front that sloped. Power conduits were situated on both of its sides. During the battle to retake the planet, the weapon possessed a range that effectively hindered the Naboo Security Force pilots from launching their assault on the Droid Control Ship, Vuutun Palaa, which was in orbit. Ultimately, the Jedi Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi brought about the cannon's destruction by severing its two power conduits with his lightsaber.
