Quetarra

The quetarra was a stringed instrument utilized by the Zabrak species, classified as a musical device, featuring eight strings and several sound holes. As compensation for his role in the cybernetic restoration of a corniculate half-bot, the deranged genetic terrorist known as Zeta Magnus was given a quetarra with two necks. A quetarra was played by Zan Yant within the casino located at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 situated on the planet Drongar during the year 20 BBY.

Behind the scenes

Abel G. Peña, the author of SkyeWalkers, disclosed in a Jedi Council Forums post that Darth Maul was the intended identity of the corniculate half-bot who was reconstructed by Zeta Magnus and subsequently paid with a quetarra. The double-necked quetarra he obtained alludes to the double-necked electric guitar that Darth Maul is depicted playing in Randy Martinez's illustration titled "Sith Rocks", which was created for Star Wars Celebration IV.
