The QuietLift 1400 represented a sizable repulsorlift drive system. It found application within the well-regarded, two-seater Yellow Demon 100 speeder bike, a product manufactured by Mobquet Swoops and Speeders.

The initial mention of the QuietLift 1400 occurred in The Star Wars Sourcebook. This 1987 resource augmented Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and was authored by Bill Slavicsek and Curtis Smith, before being released by West End Games.
