R'alla, a planet situated within the Corporate Sector, could be found along the Solenbaran Merchant Route connecting Bonadan and Kir. This world was the base of operations for many prominent media firms belonging to the Corporate Sector Authority. Its vibrant, green environment boasted numerous agricultural operations alongside gurgling water sources. Extracted from subterranean grottos beneath the mountain settlement also named R'alla, R'alla mineral water saw extensive exportation throughout the Corporate Sector and even farther, and was frequently smuggled to the parched world of Rampa III in close proximity. Authority gunships heavily patrolled the relatively short path linking R'alla and Rampa III, a stretch commonly known as the Rampa Rapids.
The initial reference to R'alla occurred in Han Solo's Revenge, a work of fiction penned by Brian Daley and published in 1979. Additional specifics concerning this planet were provided in The Essential Atlas, released during 2009.
