The Ragnook system existed within the Bothan sector, situated in the Slice region of the Mid Rim. Intriguingly, its designation mirrored that of the Ragnook Mountains found on the planet Kothlis, and also the Ragnook Spring Water drink served at the Jaded Jawa bar on that planet.
The system of Ragnook was first documented in the 2009 publication The Essential Atlas, penned by Daniel Wallace alongside Jason Fry; its location was specified as grid R-14.
