Raid on Orinda

In the year 12 ABY of the galactic timeline, the Orinda system became the site of a significant battle. This conflict saw the military might of the Imperial Remnant clash with that of the New Republic. Not long after the Remnant's establishment, Gilad Pellaeon, the newly appointed Head of State, launched an attack on Orinda. This offensive was intended as a display of power, with Pellaeon aiming to prove to the New Republic that the Empire remained a formidable force. Initially, he journeyed to Borosk aboard the Executor-class Star Dreadnought known as the Reaper to enlist the support of Turr Phennir and his 181st Imperial Fighter Group. Following this recruitment, Pellaeon and Phennir successfully seized control of Orinda, along with six systems located coreward along the strategic Entralla Route. When emissaries were sent to the New Republic to request recognition of the Remnant's newly claimed territories, they were rejected, leading to the commencement of the Orinda campaign.
