Raine Taske was a trader and artisan of the Human species (of male gender) who lived his life during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Raine Taske made his home on Tansarii Point Station, which was located in the Bright Jewel system. He frequently collaborated with Jesi, a Bith merchant, who supplied him with the resources required for creating various items.
In the year 1 ABY, a spacer, who was also an artisan, arrived at the station on the Millennium Falcon alongside Han Solo and Chewbacca. Because Solo and Raine Taske were longtime friends, Solo suggested that the spacer collaborate with the trader. Consequently, the spacer and Raine met, and they both agreed to exchange their crafting expertise. Initially, Taske requested that the spacer assist the station's cantina bartender in preparing beverages. The spacer later returned to Taske, and the two merchants began their collaborative work. The spacer instructed Raine Taske in the art of crafting clothing, preparing food (specifically bofa treats), and creating tools for surveying minerals and flora.
Raine Taske was featured as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, developed by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Raine Taske was incorporated into the game as a component of the "New Player Tutorial," which was introduced with the release of "Publish 25," otherwise known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
