Ralon was a salvaging Human male operating on the planet Dantooine.
He tried to peddle a bogus Holocron to Meetra Surik in exchange for 1000 credits. After examining the holocron, the Exile determined it was not genuine. Ralon responded by claiming it was created by an unknown individual and had passed through multiple hands before reaching him, offering a sincere apology. He further explained to Surik that he was a relatively recent salvager, and if he failed to earn sufficient credits, his family would be sold to the Hutts. Surik inquired about the amount of credits he required, to which he stated 500 credits. Upon receiving the credits from her, Ralon handed over the counterfeit holocron.
The veracity of Ralon's claims regarding his family remains uncertain; with a sufficiently high awareness skill, the Exile can express doubt about the existence of his wife.
A different dialogue option exists where Ralon concedes that the holocron is a forgery, yet the player is still able to provide him with 500 credits to facilitate his departure from Dantooine.
As another alternative, the player has the option to purchase the holocron, only to later discover its inauthenticity, at which point Ralon will assert that the transaction is irreversible.
Another option available to the player is to simply refuse to provide any assistance.
As an alternative, the player has the option to coerce Ralon into surrendering the fake holocron without receiving anything in return, a choice aligned with the dark side.
The player has the option to propose that Ralon enlist in the Khoonda Militia, but he refuses.
