The Ramoans, a sentient species, suffered the destruction of their homeworld at the hands of the Yuuzhan Vong. Even six years following the Yuuzhan Vong War, they were still in the process of being moved to different planets. Lowbacca oversaw the final phases of their resettlement; however, he left the project to align himself with the Killiks.
One individual from this species achieved the rank of Jedi Knight. Bazel Warv, a contemporary of both Valin and Jysella Horn, died while safeguarding Allana Solo.
Compared to average Humans, Ramoans possessed greater size and strength. Their skin exhibited a jade green hue. They featured diminutive eyes, a snout resembling that of a pig, and tusks that protruded from their mouths. Their communication consisted of grunts, oinks, and squeaks. Due to the structure of their mouths, speaking Basic presented a significant challenge. A possible connection to Gamorreans has been speculated.
Bazel Warv stands as the only Ramoan character to receive more than a minor background appearance. Initially, in the preview for Fate of the Jedi: Omen that was included with Fate of the Jedi: Outcast, he was identified as a Gamorrean, and practically all facets of his description could fit either species.
