History
At the Stars' End prison located on Mytus VII, the Rampart-class anticoncussion generator was implemented to bolster the molecularly bonded armor defenses. Its purpose was to dissipate and soak up kinetic energy, thereby negating the effects of impacts, blasts, and collisions. The energy consumption of this system was massive, rivaling the power draw of a Star Destroyer's ion engine.
