Rance Lojo was an Ithorian of male sex who found himself saved from the clutches of the Empire by the group called the Spectres. After this salvation, the Ithorian was offered refuge within the hidden rebel base called the Haven. Lojo contemplated the idea of searching for a different place to live, contingent on the Empire's destruction of Lothal continuing without end.
