Rayne was a female Human who, during the New Order era, transitioned from working for Brentaal's Wayward Children to becoming the proprietor of Rayne's Dune Sea Outfitters in Mos Eisley on the planet of Tatooine.
Originally from the Core World of Brentaal IV, Rayne left her position as a route coordinator at Brentaal's Wayward Children to make her way to Tatooine and realize her entrepreneurial ambitions. She leveraged her connections within the Core Worlds to establish Dune Sea Outfitters, with the goal of consistently fulfilling her customers' expectations and requirements. Despite the apparent legitimacy of her business, Rayne's strict control over her warehouse's contents—Rodian guards maintained constant patrols, and access was forbidden—led to widespread speculation about her activities. Much of the goods concealed within the warehouse were intended for shipment by Brentaal's Wayward Children.
Within her establishment, she utilized a binary load lifter, and on occasion, she received visits from a furtive Jawa who also had meetings with Arden Telowe. Her typical attire consisted of a close-fitting jumpsuit, boots, and a hat with a visor.
