RCS-1

The RCS-1, a flight control computer created by Miradyne Limited, found its home on standard Z-10 Seeker models manufactured by Starfeld Industries.

Because of its inflexible inter-connectivity protocols, the RCS-1, like all RCS systems, was famously challenging to alter. Custom, non-standard modifications frequently proved unsuccessful. The situation was made worse by Miradyne's financial collapse. Given the extreme difficulty in obtaining replacement components, any failure within the RCS-1 system could lead to disastrous outcomes.
