Rebel Vanguard

The Rebel Vanguards functioned as a specialized unit within the 6th Regiment of SpecForces, focusing on the deployment of formidable heavy armaments during combat operations.

Overview

As a component of the Rebel forces, the vanguard elements offered crucial defense against both aerial and terrestrial enemy threats, while also bolstering the capabilities of allied ground troops. Being integrated into the 6th Regiment of SpecForces, the vanguards held expertise in heavy ordnance, managing blaster positions, missile launchers, and other substantial weaponry employed to oppose the forces of the Imperial military. When incorporated into a task force, division members functioned as gunners operating heavy blaster weaponry or vehicle-mounted systems, and as Vanguards deploying portable missile launchers to engage both aerial and ground vehicles.
