Recording crystal

Recording crystals, created circa 44 BBY by Galactic Alliance Security Commander Bilpin, served as tools for recording and communication. The initial field deployment of these crystals was undertaken by Myri Antilles, who used them in the field and subsequently identified a security vulnerability. Captain Oobolo demonstrated the ability to disrupt the crystals' functionality in both transmission and reception, which led to Wedge Antilles, her father, needing to execute a rescue operation.
