Red-pointed viper

The Red-pointed viper, a poisonous snake, inhabits the swamp and jungle regions of Belkadan. Its venom, while not typically fatal, particularly to trandoshans, induces a state of nausea that can be effectively treated with an antidote. Qyzen Fess, a trandoshan, experienced this firsthand during a hunt on Belkadan when he suffered a bite from a red-pointed viper, resulting in illness. He promptly sought assistance at the encampment of Jedi Master Yuon Par, who provided him with the necessary antivenom.
