Relics were considered holy objects gathered from across the galaxy by the Aing-Tii. These Aing-Tii transported the relics to their homeworld and situated them within the Embrace, a network of caves located on the planet. While the Aing-Tii were prohibited from interacting with these sacred relics, this restriction did not apply to outsiders. Consequently, the Aing-Tii frequently sought assistance from individuals like Jorj Car'das to acquire these relics.
In 43.5 ABY, Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker, accompanied by his son, Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker, journeyed to the Kathol Rift to locate the Aing-Tii. Their goal was to gain deeper insight into the reasons behind Jacen Solo's descent into the dark side of the Force. Tadar'Ro guided them to the Aing-Tii homeworld and ultimately led them to the Embrace, hoping that the relics would offer a revelation to resolve the escalating tensions among the Aing-Tii. Luke made contact with the Codex, a relic with the capacity to amplify the user's Force-sensitivity. This action allowed the Lost Tribe of Sith, a group of Sith who had been stranded on the planet Kesh approximately 5,000 years prior, to perceive Skywalker's presence and recognize his name through the Force.
The Skywalkers did not receive any revelation from the relics, leaving the Aing-Tii to address their internal conflicts independently.
