Ren S'orn, the offspring of Senator Uta S'orn, possessed sensitivity to the Force. Due to this sensitivity, he was recognized early on as a potential candidate for Jedi instruction. However, Senator S'orn, unwilling to be separated from her child, declined to permit his enrollment and training at the Jedi Temple.
Because he knew he had the potential to become a formidable Jedi, Ren struggled to manage the visions and telepathic challenges for which he lacked preparation. He grew despondent and withdrawn, ultimately leaving his mother's home to work for Jenna Zan Arbor, who performed experiments on him. He attempted to flee, but tragically died unexpectedly on Simpla-12, where his body was discovered, completely devoid of blood.
Captain Yur T'aug of the Coruscant Security Force initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Ren's passing. However, the inquiry was discontinued after Senator S'orn, overcome with grief, requested its termination. Zan Arbor carried the burden of regret for the passing of her friend's son from that moment forward.
