The Rhigar system, a star system, resided inside the Rata Nebula. The nebula itself was situated within the Chiss Ascendancy, found in the Unknown Regions. Within the Rhigar system was the planet known as Rhigar.
Prior to the Yuuzhan Vong War, Rhigar held a clandestine Chiss military academy where Jagged Fel received training.
