Richard Bonehill


Richard Bonehill was an actor who had roles as background characters in both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, which are the second and third installments of the Star Wars original trilogy.

Biography

Richard Bonehill, an actor, made appearances in the final two Star Wars films that comprise the original trilogy, primarily as masked extras in the background. Bonehill's work on Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back spanned three weeks, while his involvement in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi lasted six weeks. Despite not receiving official credit for any of his parts in either movie, Bonehill is recognized for portraying a snowtrooper, a stormtrooper, and Rebel officer Palo Torshan in The Empire Strikes Back. In Return of the Jedi, he played a stormtrooper, a Mon Calamari, an X-wing pilot, a TIE pilot, and the named characters Nien Nunb, Ree-Yees, and Mosep Binneed.
