Ronin Lightrunner, a Mon Calamari male biologist, made his home on Naboo during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, he took a position at Moenia University, situated in the city of Moenia, where he dedicated his time to studying the veermoks. Lightrunner held a deep fascination for these animals, and was excited about his scientific work. Ronin Lightrunner would often go to the Veermok Cave within the Gallo Mountains for his research, and he also formed friendships with the Gungans residing at the Gungan Warrior Stronghold.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Ronin Lightrunner appeared as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Ronin Lightrunner was introduced to the game through the "Publish 5" update, which went live on December 16, 2003.
