Rosha Vess

Rosha Vess, a female Human from the planet of Coruscant, shared friendships with both Nyrat Agira and Immi Danoo. Back in 22 BBY, she found herself inside the Outlander Club on Coruscant, alongside her friends, at the same time that bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell were present. Soon after, as Wesell sought hide from the Jedi pair of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, she engaged in conversation and drinks with her companions at the club. The trio then witnessed Kenobi disarming Wesell.

Biography

Rosha Vess was a Human woman originally from the world of Coruscant. She maintained friendships with Nyrat Agira and Immi Danoo and was tied to the Zealots of Psusan, a rapidly expanding cult focused on female empowerment. Back in 22 BBY, Vess and her friends were within the Outlander Club, a place of business found in Coruscant's Uscru Entertainment District. Their presence there coincided with that of bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell.

Shortly thereafter, at night, Vess and her friends were back in the club, conversing and sharing drinks with a human. Wesell had entered the club, attempting to hide herself from the pursuing Jedi duo of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The trio's attention was briefly captured by Kenobi, and they turned their gazes as he severed Wesell's arm when she made an attempt to ambush him. Skywalker instructed the club's patrons to resume their drinks, and the Jedi then departed with Wesell.

Personality and traits

Vess maintained friendships with both Nyrat Agira and Immi Danoo. Being a cultist, she was scatterbrained, had light complexion, dark-colored hair, and bore a tattoo representing the Zealots of Psusan on her abdomen, mirroring Agira's own tattoo. This tattoo signified her dedication to the cult. Vess was regarded as an attractive woman.

Equipment

On that particular evening, she donned a black top featuring a high collar, a black skirt, and a pair of silver high heels.

Behind the scenes

Rosha Vess was portrayed by an uncredited extra (far right).

Rosha Vess was a character conceived for the prequel trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which premiered on May 16, 2002. The scenes set in the Outlander Club, featuring Vess (played by an uncredited extra), were filmed at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000. The character's initial appearance predated the film's release, occurring in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto," which was released on July 31, 2001. Vess then made her debut in the young readers' book, Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter, penned by Eric Arnold, illustrated by Valerie Reckert, and published on April 23, 2002. The image of her in the book was extracted from the then-forthcoming film.

Vess received her name on October 25, 2002, through the Image Attack feature on StarWars.com. In the April 6, 2004 article, "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," featured in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine, author Daniel Wallace suggests that Vess only acquired the tattoo due to her agreement to accompany Agira to get one. Wallace also characterizes Vess and her companions as the "intergalactic embodiment of the Valley Girl stereotype."
