Roskin, a woman of Human descent originating from Sulon, acted as a supporter for the Alliance to Restore the Republic in the initial stages of the Galactic Civil War.
Her participation extended to a demonstration held in the capital city of Barons Hed; however, following the Galactic Empire's brutal response known as the Sulon massacre, Morgan Katarn, a local leader, evacuated Roskin, her three children, and numerous other Rebel sympathizers to a deserted space station before embarking on the Cyclops for Ruusan in 1 BBY.
She was among the initial group of colonists transported to the planet's surface via one of two shuttles. During the boarding process through the airlock, Morgan observed her children causing her distress. He offered assistance by taking the youngest child into his arms. After securing the toddler in a seat, Morgan entertained him with a multi-tool he had with him.
They established a settlement called Fort Nowhere. Some Years afterward, she perished during the ensuing battle at the Fort, ensuring the safety of her children.
