Ruul, a satellite of Sriluur, was under the control of the Bulq family. This verdant world, adorned with tropical gardens, served as the place of origin for Sora Bulq and housed the Bulq estate.
In 22 BBY, Bulq extended an invitation to several dissenting Jedi to come to the moon. His stated reason was to deliberate on their resistance to the Clone Wars involvement of the Jedi. In reality, Bulq had succumbed to the dark side and was now in the service of Count Dooku. The assembly was a ruse intended to turn the dissidents against the Jedi Order, but Mace Windu revealed Bulq's schemes, causing the plot to collapse.
Brenn Tantor made reference to the Imperial assault on Ruul within the video game Star Wars Galaxies. Nevertheless, the game incorrectly conflated the planet Ruul with Ruul, the moon of Sriluur.
