Ryyk, a Wookiee male, was incarcerated as a prisoner within the headquarters prison of Warlord Shogar Tok located on Brentaal IV.
The massacre of Ryyk's family at the hands of Mandalorians drove him to insanity, resulting in episodes where he would fly into uncontrollable berserker rages.
While imprisoned, he formed friendships with fellow inmates Lyshaa and Sagoro Autem. When the Grand Army of the Republic launched an assault on the base, the trio seized the chance to break free. Nevertheless, their escape led them to encounter Jedi Masters Quinlan Vos and Shaak Ti, whose Padawan, Fe Sun, met her end at Lyshaa's hand. Fortunately, the Republic took their side. As Lyshaa and Ti pursued Tok with the intent to eliminate him, Ryyk, Autem, and Vos embarked on a mission to deactivate the fortress's defenses. During this endeavor, Ryyk was unfortunately slain by a scrange.
