S3

S3 represented one of twelve zones of equal size situated on the southern half of the Death Star, which was an enormous battle station constructed by the Galactic Empire. Similar to the other twenty-three zones found on the space station, this zone encompassed 31.4 kilometers of the Death Star's perimeter, had a bridge for command purposes, and housed multiple sectors each assigned a specific function. The Death Star, zone S3 included, met its end in 0 BBY. Zones S2 and S4 were adjacent to Zone S3.
