S2

S2 existed as one of a dozen zones of identical size situated on the southern half of the Death Star, a gigantic battle station that the Galactic Empire constructed. Similarly to the other twenty-three zones on the space station, this zone encompassed 31.4 kilometers around the Death Star, was overseen from a bridge, and was comprised of multiple sectors that each had a specific function. The Death Star, which included zone S2, met its end in 0 BBY. Adjacent to zone S2 were zones S1 and S3.
