Shug Ninx purchased the freighter called Salvager Three. Salla Zend used it as a disguise to penetrate the Byss system in order to recover her vessel, the Starlight Intruder (though they eventually learned it was destroyed). It is probable that the Salvager Three was abandoned on Byss by the duo when they chose to depart Byss aboard Ninx's Starhook Ten along with a collection of recently rescued Rebels, or alternatively, it might have been altered to become the Starhook Ten.
Considering the apparent identity of the two vessels, it is possible that Salvager Three is merely an alternate designation for Starhook Ten. Furthermore, Ninx and Zend arrive at Byss using the former while utilizing fraudulent codes and depart with the latter. Nevertheless, a more plausible explanation could be that Ninx had previously left the Starhook Ten on Byss before the events portrayed in Star Wars: Dark Empire and Star Wars: Dark Empire II, or that it underwent modifications utilizing the remnants of the Starlight Intruder, as indicated by the Dark Empire Handbook.
In The Essential Guide to Characters, the Salvager Three is mistakenly referred to as the Starhook VII in Ninx's profile. This mistake is absent from Zend's profile.
