Included in their pantheon were the lunar deity Quay and the thunder deity Am-Shak. Quay held the position of primary god, as the term "Weequay" itself meant "Devotee of Quay". Every Weequay urban center was constructed with a central shrine, comprised of polished black stone, termed a thal. Within these thal structures, the Weequay presented offerings consisting of sustenance and valuable objects. The tenets of their religious doctrine forbade the creation of thal outside of Sriluur, compelling followers residing on other planets to instead offer animal sacrifices, often using substantial creatures such as banthas). The Month of Plenty served as a dedicated celebration honoring Quay.
