Sargheet, a type of agricultural plant species, was cultivated on the agriworld planet Dagro, situated in the Mid Rim, during the era of the Clone Wars. Approximately six months prior to the Mission to Dagro, where Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker battled Separatist forces who had taken control of Dagro, the demand for Sargheet experienced a significant decline. This economic downturn impacted numerous farmers on Dagro, including Kilran Swens and his relatives, given that Sargheet constituted 70% of their agricultural production. The leftover stalks of Sargheet, remaining after the harvest, served as sustenance for Zeles, creatures utilized by the Swens family for transportation.
Timothy Zahn, the author, conceived Sargheet for his two-part short story titled Changing Seasons. It received mention in both installments: Guardian of the People, featured in Star Wars Insider 76, and People of the Guardian, published in Star Wars Insider 77.
