Sartok was a captivating Nazren of the male persuasion, who took on the mantle of leadership for the Nizon resistance in the period that immediately followed the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
A more seasoned individual of his kind, Sartok's left hand bore the mark of missing digits – the second and fourth fingers were absent. Furthermore, his body was etched with numerous scars, some of which traversed his facial features. His skin tone was a deeper brown compared to the majority of his fellow Nazren, punctuated by paler patches in the areas of his wrinkles and folds.
Following the Galactic Empire's seizure and occupation of Nizon, the Nazren's native planet, Sartok embarked on a mission to liberate his people. Ultimately, he achieved this goal during the Battle of Nizon, aided by operatives associated with the Alderaanian Resistance.
