Saurton, a star of yellow hue, resided within the Saurton system. This system was situated in the Trax sector, which itself was part of the Mid Rim region of the galaxy. This star was the central point around which two asteroid fields, specifically the Kanawyn Belt and the Greawyn Belt, moved in orbit. Furthermore, Essowyn, a lone planet distinguished by its numerous craters and the original homeworld of the Saurton species, also circled Saurton, positioned in the space between the two asteroid belts.
