Scaparus Port was a spaceport situated on the planet of Arkanis. Approximately two klicks away from the Arkanis Academy, it sat within a ravine between two cliffs. Despite the Galactic Empire's control over the planet, the port was populated by diverse merchants, some engaging in illicit transactions. A significant number of shops did not serve the Imperial cadets who frequented the area, instead focusing on the local population. An example of this was Jasko's, run by Jasko, which offered comm booth services free from Imperial surveillance. Having been expelled from the academy himself, Jasko took pleasure in creating problems for its Commandant, Brendol Hux. A large number of the inhabitants displayed wounds as a result of the hazardous fishing trade on the planet.
