Scerra Horn was wed to Nejaa Halcyon, a Jedi Knight. She bore Valin Halcyon, who was her son. Following her initial husband's death, and with the emergence of the Empire, Scerra entered into matrimony with Rostek Horn, a comrade of her late spouse. To safeguard her family from the dangers of the Great Jedi Purge, she arranged for her son to be renamed Valin Horn, also known as "Hal." Corran Horn, her grandson, followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a CorSec inspector, while also inheriting his biological grandfather's Jedi abilities.
