Publisher's summary

JEDI ACROSS THREE GENERATIONS.

THREE SECRETS YET TO BE REVEALED.

A Jedi must never succumb to love....

Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, still mourning the death of his comrade Tahl, is ordered back to the Jedi Temple to recuperate. However, his respite is quickly disrupted by an urgent assignment: a technologically gifted young boy has intercepted a message indicating a widespread assassination plot targeting planetary leaders. Qui-Gon and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, must safeguard the boy from ruthless bounty hunter assassins and thwart the deadly scheme.

Joining Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on this perilous mission are Jedi Master Adi Gallia and her impetuous apprentice, Siri. Obi-Wan and Siri have been friendly rivals for a considerable time. As the assassins close in, their relationship begins to evolve in an unexpected way....

Years later, Obi-Wan, Siri, and the boy they once sought to protect are reunited, with the fate of the Clone Wars hanging in the balance. Old tensions resurface, along with new conflicts and hidden truths. Obi-Wan's apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, harbors many secrets, and when his clandestine wife, Padmé Amidala, joins the Jedi mission, the stakes become even higher.
