Sedratis City

Sedratis City, found within the Sedratis system of the Core Worlds, was home to the Sedratis Coliseum. The city's most celebrated gladiator walker combat team was Demelza's Destructors. During the Galactic Civil War, a rival team, Hansor's Hooligans, made a surprise appearance in Sedratis City. They took over the Sedratis Coliseum and dared the Destructors to try and remove them. This challenge ignited a massive surge in ticket demand for the anticipated clash.

Description

Within the Core Worlds' Sedratis system lay Sedratis City, a notable settlement. The city was the location of the famous Sedratis Coliseum.

History

Sedratis City was located in the Sedratis system (galactic surroundings pictured).

Demelza's Destructors, a team competing in the Core Gladiator Walker League, held the title of Sedratis City's top gladiator walker team during the Galactic Civil War. Few expected Hansor's Hooligans, bitter rivals of the Destructors, to journey all the way to the city to personally challenge them. However, the Hooligans' captain, Madrix Hansor, secretly coordinated with local promoters months beforehand to make this happen.

Eventually, sometime between 0 ABY and 3 ABY, Hansor's team arrived in Sedratis City, shocking fans of the gladiator walker sport. The Hooligans then occupied the Sedratis Coliseum and issued a challenge to the Destructors, demanding they be evicted. In the twelve hours that followed, the desire for tickets to the expected confrontation overwhelmed ticketing systems. A news story from the day after the challenge, which covered the events in Sedratis City, was later included in the fiftieth-anniversary edition of Galladinium's Galactic Datalog of Fantastic Technology.
