Seenlu Kir was a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order, a Human female who served during the declining years of the Galactic Republic.
Recognized early on as Force-sensitive, Seenlu Kir was brought to the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant for instruction in the Force. She spent many years studying as an Initiate at the Temple's academy, eventually graduating and becoming a Padawan under a Jedi Master. After a long period of traveling and learning together, Kir successfully completed her Trials of Knighthood and was elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight by the Jedi High Council. Continuing her learning on her own, Kir chose the path of the Jedi Consular, aiming to establish peace on planets throughout the galaxy.
During a mission assigned by the High Council, Kir's hands were left scarred due to her failure. To conceal these scars, Kir started wearing gloves and adopted pants and vests instead of the Order's traditional robes. Shortly following this setback, Jedi Kir journeyed to the Cularin system and began her work at the academy on Almas. She took on a teaching role, instructing students of all levels before being tasked with supervising the dormitories for the youngest Initiates.
Seenlu Kir, a passionate Jedi, aspired to achieve galactic peace through her contributions to the Jedi Order. Humiliated by her mission failure, her assignment to the Almas Academy allowed her to overcome her shame by working with young learners. Furthermore, Kir's suppressed desires for a family were put aside after she was appointed as the dormitories' overseer.
