Semasalli, a Dressellian, served as a member of the crew aboard the freighter known as the Woebegone.
Semasalli's presence was recorded in 67 BBY when Darth Plagueis came aboard the ship while it was en route from Bal'demnic. Following the demise of Captain Ellin Lah at the hands of Plagueis, Semasalli, along with his fellow crew, engaged the Muun Sith Lord in combat. In the heat of battle, Semasalli suffered dismemberment, resulting in the loss of his left arm at the shoulder. After the conflict, he fell unconscious and remained on board when Plagueis gave the command to destroy the vessel.
Semasalli's character is a minor one, first appearing in the 2012 book Darth Plagueis penned by James Luceno. Within the pages of the novel, Semasalli speaks only a handful of lines and meets his end relatively early, although his death is not directly depicted.
