The Senate Interspecies Advisory Committee represented an organization created by the Galactic Senate with the goal of reducing friction between different species. It also sought to resolve the numerous conflicts between species that frequently arose during the time of the Old Republic. The membership of the committee included Senators, Jedi Knights, and various other specialists.
