The Sennex system existed within the Lorelli Reach, a region found in the Hapes Cluster of the Slice part of the Inner Rim. The Lorell Route hyperlane linked it to both the Andalia and Daruvvia systems. The Sennex system served as the place where the Sennex pirates originated.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, released in 2009 and written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, first presented the Sennex system, locating it in sector O-9.
