A device utilized by Alliance commando units was an electronic scrambler, sometimes referred to as a sensor scrambler. The Endor strike team had these devices with them when they undertook their assignment to eliminate the Endor shield generator bunker. These scramblers were capable of distorting sensor data originating from weapon detectors.
