Obo Rin, a sentientologist, sought to interview this family for his contribution about Sedrians in the Catalog of Intelligent Life in the Galaxy, but the family declined to participate. Rin's theory was that their prolonged absence from Sedri, spanning multiple generations, might have rendered them incapable of responding or validating details concerning their species.
