The capital ship of the Shard-class represented a type of capital ship. The Killiks conceived and constructed this class, specifically for use during the Battle of Tenupe.
These warships possessed an approximate cone-like form, with their lengths varying considerably, spanning from 1.5 to 10 kilometers. The inspiration for their designation stemmed from their seeming creation process: the breaking of a moon or asteroid into fragments, followed by the excavation of these fragments into structures resembling hives. This unique construction approach endowed the vessels with significant defensive capabilities, due to each layer of the hive being able to function as supplementary armor.
