Shrapnel pistol
A shrapnel pistol functioned as a ranged weapon, employed by the Ebruchi species. Captain Ness, who was the commander of the Ebruchi fleet's Burning Gear flotilla, carried a shrapnel pistol.

The sourcebook The Unknown Regions, released in 2010 by Wizards of the Coast for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, was the first appearance of the shrapnel pistol.
