Sienn'rha
Sienn'rha was a Twi'lek female. She became friends with Oola and chose to support the Rebellion during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
Like her friend Oola, Sienn'rha's early life involved being enslaved after being kidnapped by Bib Fortuna when she was a young girl. Fortuna made them both train as dancers so they could perform for Jabba Desilijic Tiure. During their journey to Jabba's Palace, Jerris Rudd provided a hiding place for the two girls, but Luke Skywalker eventually found them. Luke attempted to assist them in escaping, but Oola was wary. Rudd then appeared, and a battle ensued. Luke deflected all of Rudd's blaster fire, killing him and creating an opportunity for the dancers to escape. Oola then created a distraction for the newly arrived Fortuna and told Sienn to run, hoping to protect her from Fortuna, whom she knew was dangerous.
She eventually made her way back to Ryloth and remained thankful to the Rebel Alliance for saving her, even years later. When Rogue Squadron went to Ryloth to get Ryll kor, Sienn'rha was one of the dancers who provided entertainment for the pilots. She offered Wedge Antilles a private dance, but he politely declined.
The name Sienn was often given to Twi'lek females, and it meant maiden in the Twi'leki language.
Behind the scenes
Kathy Tyers created Sienn for Oola's story featured in Tales from Jabba's Palace. Later, that year, Michael A. Stackpole included her briefly in X-Wing: The Krytos Trap, where he revealed her full Twi'leki name as Sienn'rha.
The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia's entry for Sienn makes an incorrect claim: it says she was presented to Jabba the Hutt with Oola, and then Luke Skywalker rescued her from Jabba's Palace. Every other source, including Oola's entry in the same encyclopedia, says that Skywalker freed her in Mos Eisley before she was taken to Jabba.
