Simoom system

The Simoom system, a star system found within the Senex-Juvex's Senex sector of the galaxy's Mid Rim and Western Reaches regions, was linked to the Hestria system via a hyperlane. It encompassed the planet Simoom, the original homeworld of the creatures called Simoomian sensory hounds. These creatures were a popular export of numerous noble families residing in the Senex and Juvex sectors.

Behind the scenes

Jason Fry and [Daniel Wallace]'s The Essential Atlas, released in 2009, introduced the Simoom system, locating it within grid square L-18.
