The Sisar Run is defined as a hyperspace route. Before 3 ABY, the smuggler named Platt Okeefe referenced this route. She did so when writing about the potential for her own guide aimed at smugglers, within the pages of the book titled Smuggler's Guide. Okeefe specified that to gain basic access to the hypothetical guide, readers would need to have successfully completed five Sisar Runs. Furthermore, advanced access would necessitate the completion of three Kessel Runs.
Within the current Star Wars canon, the Sisar Run's initial mention occurred in the 2018 reference book, Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, authored by Daniel Wallace. However, this run was originally conceived for the Star Wars Legends timeline. Its first appearance there was in the 1995 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement, Alliance Intelligence Reports, published by West End Games.
