The Skorrupon system was a star system situated in the Mid Rim, and it was the home of the planet called Skorrupon.
Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Rebel forces tried to stage an ambush against the recently launched Super Star Destroyer, the Executor, in the space surrounding Skorrupon.
