The Skyborn Rangers were a group of Sith belonging to the Lost Tribe who rode uvaks on the planet Kesh. Yaru Korsin established the group in 4975 BBY and appointed his daughter, Nida, as its leader. While they appeared to be merely hobbyists who rode for public entertainment, the Rangers' true purpose was to act as a safeguard against the schemes of Adari Vaal, who was plotting to overthrow the Sith leadership on Kesh. Subsequently, the attire of the uvak wranglers who participated in competitions within the Korsinata over a millennium afterward was influenced by the Rangers' style.
