Skyfaring, a form of Gatalentan calisthenics, involved individuals utilizing scarves to ascend wooden structures and hang suspended in the air. It was customary for Gatalentans to begin their skyfaring training during early childhood. For the Gatalentans, skyfaring was both a spiritual and meditative practice; those who were highly skilled could meditate while suspended, "unmoored to the ground," improving their spiritual state and the spiritual state of those nearby.
